Let knowledgeable captain and guide Jim Lavrakas show you the time of your life on board the fishing vessel "Skookum". We'll ply the waters surrounding Homer in search of halibut and rockfish, and all the species of Pacific salmon.
I specialize in half-day and three-quarter day charters, targeting local "in-season" fisheries. I take a maximum of 4 anglers on my boat, but work with another local guide to accommodate groups larger than 6 anglers.

Homer is known as "The Halibut Capital of The World" where the local annual derby winner is typically a 300+ pound fish!
Oh yeah, those other fish we love to catch (and eat). Don't forget the five species of Pacific salmon and dozens of variations of rock fish (sea bass) we can target while searching for halibut, King of Flatfish...
