Fishing & Seaside dining
- The Fishing
- Just across Kachemak Bay, a few miles from the Homer Spit, are protected waters in dramatic fjords where a wonderfull fishery is waiting for you. Yelloweye (red snapper) and dusky rockfish, and Pacific cod are wonderful fish to catch, perfect for anglers young and old.

- The Feasting
- After your fishing expedition we'll head over to our family's cabin where, while you beachcomb, your cook will prepare the freshest seafood you'll ever have (because you just caught it). Our signature meal is a rich Bouillabaisse. During crab season, we can make Cioppino, the seafood stew from San Francisco. Meals are served with fresh bread and dessert. For discriminating children, we have the ever-popular grilled cheese sandwich.

- An Adventure For The Whole Family
- In the time we're on the water I'll tell you about the wildlife, lifestyles and history of the Kachemak Bay area. We'll sightsee and look for sea otters, eagles, black bears, and maybe even find some humpback whales or orcas.
- Shoreside / The Galley
- You'll love seeing our remote cabin in a beautiful little cove. My parent's cabin, "The Cottage", is modelled after a Maine hunting lodge and sits on a little peninsula tucked into a lagoon inside Little Tutka Bay. The "Galley" is a guest house converted to the dining building.

- Working With The Tide
- Because of monthly dramatic tidal differences, getting into and out of the lagoon where the cabin is located can be tricky. Therefore the time for your tour will need to be adjusted according to the tides on any specific day.
